1. Ferrari World

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi (Arabic عالم فيراري أبوظبي) is a substantially outdoors theme park located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It’s the world’s first Ferrari-themed park and hosts Formula Rossa, which has held the record for the world’s fastest roller coaster since 2010. The foundation stone for the park was laid on 3 November 2007. Aldar Properties developed the park and BESIX Group constructed it. It took three years to develop the park until it officially opened to the public on 4 November 2010. Ferrari World is part of the larger Yas Island entertainment complex, which includes other attractions like Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, and the Yas Marina Circuit. The most recent roller coaster to open is Mission Ferrari, which opened to the public in January 2023.


2. Yas Waterworld

Yas Waterworld, located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, thrills families and adventure seekers with a fun-filled day. With over 40 rides, slides, and attractions, it serves as a world-class destination that combines Emirati heritage with unlimited entertainment. Yas Waterworld features a variety of unique rides and attractions. The park’s most popular ride, the ‘Dawwama‘, holds the title of the world’s largest six-person tornado water coaster. ‘Bandit Bomber‘, a 550-metre coaster, introduces onboard water and laser effects for the first time. For those seeking a more relaxed experience, the ‘Al Raha River‘ provides a leisurely ride through the park. The park charges AED 250 for adults, and AED 230 for children below 1.1 metres in height. Children under 3 years enter for free.


3. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque stands as one of the world’s largest mosques and a massive architectural work of art that intentionally blends different Islamic architectural schools. It showcases 82 domes, more than 1,000 columns, 24-carat-gold gilded chandeliers and the world’s largest hand-knotted carpet. One of the world’s largest chandeliers dominates the main prayer hall. The late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan built this mosque to convey historic consequence and to embody the Islamic message of peace, tolerance and diversity. He intended for the Grand Mosque to serve as a living reference of modern Islamic architecture that links the past with the present and creates a place of Islamic science and learning that would reflect genuine Islamic values.


4. The Louvre

The unique exhibition design of the Louvre Abu Dhabi explores the connections between civilisations and societies however that might at first feel to be far piecemeal in time and terrain.
